Hey There
My name is Ana C. Mathis, AMFT # 1525447. For the last two years my clinical focus was exclusively on clients engaged in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). This experience allowed me to collaborate closely with individuals facing acute mental health challenges and provided me with invaluable insight into complex clinical care settings.
I gained substantial experience treating teens and adults with complex cases, including Bipolar I and II disorders, borderline personality disorder (BPD), Multiple Personality Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), General Anxiety Disorder, Conversion Disorder, Addiction, Selective Mutism, Suicidal Ideation (SI) Autism, and ADHD, among others. This experience has enabled me to work confidently with a wide range of client demographics, which has been a valuable part of my development as a therapist.
The field of mental health care is evolving to meet diverse needs, preferences, and challenges that go beyond traditional talk therapy. It is my goal to use innovative evidence-based practices and current research as a compass to produce what is best for clients.
I am excited to walk this path of transformation with you.

I offer sessions in the Santa Maria Satellite Office, San Luis Obispo and Telehealth anywhere in CA.
